conflict , compatibility , or coexistence ?
THE ETERNAL DEBATE
For centuries human has tried to ask and answer to fundamental questions :
° How does the universe work ?
° why does the universe exist ?
Science answer the first question whereas the religion tries to answer the second one. But are they enemies of each other obviously no because in human civilisation we need both for survival. nATURALLY Someone could say we can survive without religion but couldn’t say the same for science but now that is factually untrue as religion is part of human culture and belief system so coexistence of both the things is best for human civilisation. Choosing one from these will lead destruction of human species.
WHAT IS SCIENCE ?
Science is evidence based , testable , repeatable , open to revision . Science works and focuses on physics , biology , chemistry ,astronomy , medicine and everything which we human use in daily life. Science is practical and theory if evidence change on practical than the theory changes no theory is 100% true but it is backed by real life proofs and evidences. Science is not theology.

WHAT IS RELIGION ?
Religion is faith-based, moral guiding , spiritual , tradition and culture driven. Religion is most likely made by humans when we didn’t know the answers of the greater things we had . So we made someone above us to answer all these questions like why are we here , who made us , why we die etc. religion is something that can’t be backed by science as science don’t believe in mythologies. We have enough proof that all religions were made by human. The scriptures we call holy are also written by us.

HISTORICAL CONFLICT
Galileo vs church – Galileo supported heliocentrism but the church opposed him. This became a symbol of science vs religion conflict.
Darwins Evolution – on the origin of every species it challenged literal religious stories. Even today, evolution debates exist.
Religion has always suppressed science in the past for asking question. Sometimes it is sin to ask questions to the divine. It’s called disrespect towards the creator who we can’t see , hear , or touch.
WHERE SCIENCE AND RELIGION CLASH ?
° Creation vs Evolution : Science agrees that evolution is the scientific theory describing characteristics of biological populations change over successive generations. But religion has many theories as there is not single religion. every religion has its creation theory which contradicts one another. But science is universally singular.
° Big bang vs Divine creation : science says the world and everything around earth or anything we know exists other than our planet started with a Big Bang. It is a theory given and supported by most of the scientists. Whereas every religion has different theory as some say god made Adam and Eve with soil and then the earth , water , animal and everything that exists on earth. Most of the religion believe there is a god and he is the creator but the definition of god is different for every religion.
° Miracles vs Natural Laws : Religion has many miracles which science can’t proof them by the natural laws. Because the miracles written in holy scriptures or seen by peoples who claim these things don’t have any proofs and evidence and violate all natural laws of science. In today’s world everything happening has a reason behind. People claiming to have seen miracles are either lying or mentally unstable because these things can’t be backed by science.
Some religious scholars accept evolution and Big Bang. In fact, the Big Bang theory was proposed by a catholic priest named Georges Lemaire.
WHERE SCIENCE AND RELIGION AGREE
Many scientists were religious. Issac Newton believed in god. Albert Einstein spoke about “cosmic religion”.
